Don't run this program if you have your (unsaved) research thesis (or other vital stuff) hanging around in the background.
Be very liberal about making backup copies.
Only work on a copy of Spectre. I will not feel sorry for anyone who trashes their only copy of Spectre by using this program. Besides, the program will warn you every time you open any part of Spectre.
About Spectre World Editor
For those of you who don't know what Spectre is, it's a recent arcade game for the Macintosh. You drive around on a game grid in a tank. The object is to collect flags posted on the game grid and to blast all the robot tanks that get in your way. To make life a bit more interesting there are also obstacles on the game grid that you can bump into and hide behind.
The Spectre World Editor program was written to allow you to modify the layout and colors of the obstacles on the game grids.
This is version 0.9b1. It took me a week to write, so it will probably take you 5 seconds to find something wrong with it. I have, however, tried to disable the menu items that don't work. Obviously, scream at me if it crashes.
